Josué González Garin

His work transforms emotions and lived experiences into symbols of change, movement, and vitality.

Mexican visual artist who understands art as a language for translating feelings, personal memories, and emotional processes into visual form. His compositions emerge from geometric structures, vibrant chromatic ranges, and the use of diverse materials and supports, generating dynamic works that convey energy, motion, and resilience. Inspired by the hummingbird, he adopts this figure as a recurring protagonist — a symbol of transformation, adaptability, and continuous renewal.

He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Mexico, including presentations at Centro Cultural Cuajimalpa, Academia de San Carlos, Chagall Gallery in Veracruz, Faro de Oriente, National Polytechnic Institute, and various cultural venues in Texcoco, Pachuca, and Atitalaquia. He is the founder and director of Casa Estudio Colibrí in Real del Monte, where he promotes collaborative artistic projects focused on the production and dissemination of contemporary art.
